Hardangergutane AS is changing its name to Epli Sideri AS In this connection we would like to inform you that the organisation number remains the same as before, and to give a brief background for the change. A look back Epli Sideri's history began back in 2015 when the two brothers Kristian and Karl Magnus started making apple juice and cider on the family farm at Sekse in Hardanger. The two brothers then formed the company Hardangergutane. Shortly after the start-up, Kristian's wife, Inger, joined the company. In 2021 Inger and Kristian bought a new and larger farm at Sekse, where in a short time they have carried out extensive work planting new orchards, and shortly afterwards they also began building new production premises. A new era In 2024 Hardangergutane enters a new era in which production is moved back to Sekse into new and more suitable premises, and some time ago Karl Magnus chose to leave the company and Inger and Kristian took over the running of it. The sum of these changes meant that we wanted to create a clearer identity, and the name Epli Sideri saw the light of day. Epli is an old word for apple which in earlier times was used in everyday speech in Hardanger and originally stems from Norse times. New name – same good quality Epli Sideri is a new company name, but the identity of our products will be easily recognisable with the same label, product names and good quality.
