About Kvestad Sideri AS
1808 is a cider made in the traditional way, as it has been done for generations on holding 2 at Kvestad. Haakon, who owns holding 2 today, learned to make cider from his father – Oddmund. Now it is the daughters Hilde and Marianne who are learning from Haakon, and in that way traditions are kept alive. The cider 1808 is semi-dry and sparkling. There are a total of 7 members in the family business Kvestad Sideri: Ellen and Haakon, the daughters Hilde and Marianne, their partners Andre and Olav Arne, and their cousin Ole Kristian. With a good mix of different skills and experience we work well together and drive the business forward as a team. We receive groups for cider tasting all year round - get in touch!
