Privacy
This is an English translation of our privacy policy. The original is the Norwegian version, and if the two differ, the Norwegian version applies.
Tuni uses self-hosted, cookie-free analytics. We do not track you across websites and we do not store personal data.
We built and run the analytics ourselves, and the data never leaves our own database. We do not use cookies for statistics, and we do not share data with third-party advertisers or analytics tools.
To count visits without identifying you, we create an anonymous, random code from your IP address and browser, combined with a secret key and today's date. The code cannot be traced back to you, and it changes every day, so visits cannot be linked together over time. Neither your IP address nor your browser information is stored.
We respect ‘Do Not Track’ in your browser. If you have turned it on, we collect nothing at all. You can also opt out manually here:

What we measure
- Which pages are visited, and how many people visit them.
- Which farm shops are viewed, and clicks on contact links.
- Anonymous searches and filters, so that we can improve the service.
- What type of device (mobile, tablet, computer) is used.
Everything is aggregated and anonymous. We never see who you are.
Bot protection
To prevent spam and automated abuse, our forms (such as submitting and reporting farm shops, tips, reviews and signing in) are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. The service runs invisibly in the background without asking you to solve anything, and without tracking you across websites.
To tell people from bots, Turnstile may process limited technical information from your browser. This processing is carried out by Cloudflare and is governed by Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy.
Automatic translation
To create the English and German versions of tuni.no, we translate public content automatically with Claude, an AI service from Anthropic. This covers farm shop descriptions, notes on opening hours, reviews and replies to them, county texts, offers and products. This is content that is already visible to everyone on Tuni.
Anthropic processes the text as our data processor and does not use it to train AI models. Information that only administrators can see, such as internal notes and submitted reports, is never sent for translation.
