About Breievne Gard
Breievne Gard is a small self-sufficient farm in beautiful Hardanger. My family has lived here for several hundred years and now it is my turn. We grow berries and fruit for all seasons, we process them into apple juice, cordial and jam which we sell from the farm shop, and we are also a cider farm. In addition we have glamping, and a summer cafe in Kaffistova. My winter work takes place in the old Glasstova from 1845, where I have a weaving room and produce textiles for the Hardangerbunad in the form of vesteband (waistcoat bands), bringeduker (bib cloths) and belte/fangband (belts/apron bands). The farm lies 70 metres from Hardangerfjorden, so here you can swim with a view of Gygrastolen, Folgefonna and Omaholmen itself! The surrounding area also offers experiences for big and small, young and old! Do drop in and see us!
