About Setran Gård
Setran Gård offers farm and nature experiences. A farm holiday means staying on the farm in a cabin or holiday house, getting a guided tour, joining in with looking after the animals or just strolling around in a living and well-tended cultural landscape. The farm lies in an open setting on a ridge with a fine view towards the fjord and the mountains. The farm is also a visitor farm and an approved 4H Farm. You can come for a day visit, get a guided tour and contact with the animals, as well as buy some quality products from the farm. To let you experience the nature close by, the farm offers canoe and boat hire, waymarked walking routes with universal design and footpaths with nature meeting places for barbecuing and enjoying a campfire We also offer nature experiences with a guide. Examples of trips are fishing and canoe trips on the fjord, a walk to the giant's kettles at Galtneset, a walk to a Sámi burial site (Shamangrav), otter-board fishing in Setervatnet and more. These are exciting and eventful trips that can be experienced together with your hosts. On the trips, food and coffee are prepared over an open fire.
