About Litlvea Gård
At Litlvea in Nærøysund we have a small-scale artisan cheese dairy where we make gulost (yellow semi-hard cheese), salatost (salad cheese) and fresh cheese following traditional recipes. The cheeses are made with local milk from farms in the surrounding area. The gulost is matured for several months to achieve a rich and full flavour. Some varieties have added spices such as wild garlic, fenugreek or Italian herbs. In the farm shop you can buy our cheeses as well as a selection of local food products. Litlvea Gård is located along Foldavegen, midway between Rørvik and Kolvereid.
