About Oddan alpakka

Oddan alpakka is based at Oddan gård, a family farm from the 1800s located about 11 km from the centre of Kyrksæterøra in Heim municipality. In 1880 the old folk built up the farm as it partly stands today, and it is still run by the Oddan family. We are a family of 5 who run the farm as a tourism business with alpaca walks, accommodation, a visitor farm and an approved IPT farm (Inn på tunet, farm-based welfare services) where the alpacas are the main attraction. On the farm you can meet our fantastic alpacas, and a variety of other animals. Perhaps a trip into the troll forest with the little ones, where they can try out balancing, climbing and playing. Sleep in our Nordlandslavvo (Sámi tent) and Stabbursnatt (a night in a stabbur, a traditional storehouse on stilts) We also offer alpaca walks where you can walk with your own alpaca on a lead rope with a guide at your side. Welcome to our cosy farm shop where you will find materials for the most beautiful skeins in natural colours from our own alpacas and villsau (old Norwegian sheep breed). We also sell locally sourced cured sausages, fenalår (cured leg of lamb), dinner sausages, barbecue sausages. tapas meatballs. leg of lamb. lamb shank. sliced shoulder of lamb and stewing meat from our own villsau, alpaca cured sausages, soft drinks, lingonberry jelly, honey, ice cream and more.
