The farm restaurant Oppløftet is a natural place for experiences, togetherness and enjoyment. Gourmet meat and award-winning cheeses, meat dishes, seasonal vegetables and freshly baked bread are served on the farm where it is all produced – talk about locally sourced food! The restaurant takes groups of 10 – 45 people, and can at short notice serve small dishes made from the farm's cheeses with seasonal accompaniments. Hitra Gårdsmat produces meat and seven different types of cheese from happy cows. The animals are the very foundation. The most important thing for us is that they get to live as much as possible according to their instincts and have their needs met. The cows get to be outside in nature practically every day all year round, and the young animals get to roam about at night, like most young people!
