We were both born and raised on the family farms we run together, conventional farming. Loose housing with two milking robots. Milk and meat production, 350 animals divided between NRF, Jersey and Limousin. Limousin purely for meat production. We raise bulls and heifers on the farms in safe surroundings with love for the animals, something that makes the Limousin meat from HH Ranch Gårdsutsalg something quite unique. We use Silsetfjellet and Harstadfjellet as outfield pasture, where the animals can roam freely and enjoy themselves from early summer until well into the autumn. Plenty of movement, nutritious food and calm animals are not only good animal welfare, they also give tasty, good meat. HH stands for our surnames Harstad/Høgset. Milk and meat production in Batnfjord. Lovely soft ice cream made from fresh milk from the farm tank, new potatoes grown without the use of pesticides and juicy beef from Limousin heifers.
