"Reina" has been a name for the farm from the very beginning. It is one of the oldest farms along Fannefjorden and lies at Hjelset. Reina describes a slope leaning towards the sun and the sea. The farm is well known in the village, and has historically been run with milk and meat production, along with a great interest in fruit and berry growing. The fruit orchards are planted in rows running north/south to make the most of the sun. Parts of the farm building have now been converted into a pressing facility and premises for cider production with a modern production line and new technical equipment. Preparations are currently being made for selling products on the farm. Here you can come for a visit and have a pleasant chat about fruit!
