About Raknerud Gård
Hadeland is often called the Tuscany of the North, and it is the good soil that makes the raw produce from the farm of the highest quality and gives it a unique flavour. Here on the farm we grow the potato varieties Mandel, Blå Kongo, Knallfiffi, Kers Pink and Astrix. We also grow onions and beetroot in addition to Jerusalem artichokes. Our produce is sold in shops in the local area and in our own farm shop in season. The season for potatoes is from about 10 September to about 1 May. The season for onions and beetroot is from the beginning of September to about 1 May. The season for Jerusalem artichokes is from 1 October to 1 December.
