About Heidal Ysteri
Heidal Ysteri is a cheese dairy rich in tradition in Heidal that makes Heidalsost, Heidalsprim and rømmegraut (sour cream porridge) with roots in old food traditions from Gudbrandsdalen. In the farm shop they also have a small bakery with fresh bread, yeast-risen baked goods and other bakery products made from scratch. The cheese dairy carries on the history of Heidalsosten, which in its present form has been produced since 1921.
