About Brimi sæter v/Hans Brimi
At the seter (summer mountain farm) we milk the cows and turn the unique mountain milk into flavoursome seter products that you can taste with us or buy to take home. We show you how the handmade cheeses take shape in the cheese dairy, and you get up close to the animals – indoors and outdoors. We offer genuine seter fare that has travelled no distance, based on ingredients from the farm and the seter. If you would like to stay the night, you can enjoy the magic of the mountains during the day and finish with a 4-course seter menu at the long table, before you crawl under the duvet in a brisk (plank bunk) in the barn, in the lavvo (Sámi tent) or in a room in the cabin. Welcome to the seter!
