Bygland Bryggeri is based in the deep valleys of Setesdal, where we combine Norwegian traditions with modern craftsmanship. The brewery is particularly known for traditional beer brewed with kveik (Norwegian farmhouse yeast) and inspiration from old Norwegian farm traditions, but it also produces modern beer styles, alcohol-free craft soft drinks and sake under the brand Rannei – Craft Sake of Norway. We are Scandinavia's only sake producer, and we use Japanese koji and rice together with pure spring water from Ose and Norwegian kveik. The result is completely unique drinking experiences where Norwegian nature and Japanese fermentation tradition meet. In addition we make craft soft drinks with fresh berries and natural flavours. Our products are served both locally and in restaurants and bars in Norway and abroad. Through history, culture and genuine craftsmanship we want to bring out the flavour of Setesdal in every single bottle and can.
