About Kalsa Gårdsbakeri
On the farm we run milk production, and of course we use our own milk in everything we make. In the summer our café is open every Sunday from 11-16. (July-September) We also take groups by booking. We have room for 50 guests spread throughout the whole house. For meetings we can take 15-20 people. Ausundsklenning is our new product. This is an unbuttered lemse (soft local flatbread) filled with rørosrømme (Røros sour cream), with herbs and delicacies such as smoked Aursund trout and reindeer meat in several variants Neither the pjalt (traditional local flatbread) nor the lemse resembles what you otherwise associate with sweet treats. No, these are delicacies in everyday dress. You will find the café in Såmmårstuggu, which is from the 1700s. All production takes place here. We serve on our newly made tableware from Potteriet på Røros. A serving dish was found at Brynhildsvollen. It is from 1834 and they have made an exact copy. Based on the pattern from it, they have made 50 different cups and saucers, jugs and bowls. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. A warm welcome to a different café experience! Our farm shop is open when one of us is at home. Welcome!
