The hamlet of Jørem lies in Grong municipality. You will find us along Sørsiveien, 7 kilometres from the E6 and 40 kilometres from Namsos. Surrounded by the famous salmon river Namsen, and within walking distance of wonderful hunting and hiking areas in forest and mountains. We offer accommodation with or without meals in two cosy houses in the farmyard, and in the bakehouse we serve pizza from a wood-fired stone oven. Organic ancient grains are grown on the farm, and in a converted cowshed there is a craft brewery, a grain mill and a small bakery with a farm shop. We bake with flour from our own grain, of course. In the forest along the Namsen, outdoor pigs live during the summers. They are turned into lovely ham, salami and other products that we both sell and use in the food we serve. We rent out salmon fishing rights on the Namsen, and at the neighbouring farm you can take part in riding courses and riding camps. We are also fortunate to rent out a little land to a market garden, which supplies both us and customers with lovely vegetables. We are part of the Elvelangs Namsen collaboration, which is a network of local businesses with various shops and experiences along the Namsen.
