Mediaas Søndre is a family farm with long traditions. There has been farming here since 1696, and today it is run by the 10th generation - Norsk rødt fe (Norwegian Red cattle), Norwegian red wine, cows & grapes! The farm shop in the stabbur (traditional storehouse on stilts), Mediaas handel. Here we offer local bites, Italian flavours, gifts and homeware. The shop will be self-service much of the time, but there will be various activities on certain days which mean that we also have the shop staffed at various times. Mediaas Winery - where tradition meets innovation, and where every bottle carries with it the story from the middle of the hill. We produce rosé, white and red wine on the farm. Mediaas Læmmen - function room in the barn, with bar, kitchen and toilet. The barn holds up to 120 people, and is therefore also suitable for larger parties. We offer a tour of the whole farm, which includes milk production, biogas, the vineyard and wine production. Or it can be a short version, where we take you through the wine production. We welcome both small and large groups. (6-120 people) We of course offer wine tasting with or without a tour. With the wines we serve local bites. Do drop by our farm shop!
