Welcome to the farm hut at Holstad gård! In the farm hut we sell hides, wool, wool products and meat from the farm's flock of gammelnorsk spælsau (old Norwegian short-tailed sheep). A few other local producers also sell their products here. Icelandic baked goods, glass art and wooden boards are some of the products you can find. A common thread running through the goods in the hut is history and preferably something local. We have a fondness for reuse, history and old things, so you will find both that and vintage clothes in the hut. In the farm hut we have used a lot of reclaimed materials, such as: a cow feed barrier and iron bars for hanging hides, old water pipes from the cowshed as hangers for clothes, grain-drying poles as room dividers, an old door, cupboard, spruce root and screw fuses as hangers. We have also grown flax on the farm, which is sold as flax bouquets. The selection will vary with the season. We hope you feel like dropping by the farm hut.
