About Berg Gård og Inderøy Brenneri
Here they keep sheep and free-range pigs, and the farm houses its own abattoir, farm food kitchen, eatery, farm shop, distillery & brewery. In the farm shop you can buy a range of products from the farm, everything from the farm's meat products of lamb and free-range pork to mustard products and rapeseed oil from our own brand Inderøy 64 ° Nord. We also offer aquavit glasses from Inderøy Brenneri, as well as a rich selection of local food and other tasty products from other producers. During the summer season (16 June-16 August in 2025) we also have a summer cafe with simple refreshments next to the farm shop. The dining room Slakteriloftet is open by booking all year round, and can offer dishes based on the farm's own resources. At Berg Gård you will find Inderøy Brenneri- a small but ambitious distillery. Inderøy Brenneri was established in 2015, and resumed aquavit production at Inderøy after 116 years. The main spice in all the aquavits is the farm's own caraway, supplemented with flavourings taken from the rich flora around the farm. Would you like to join the aquavit farmer in the cask store and hear more about the production and the history behind it? Get in touch to arrange an aquavit tasting, which can be combined with a meal on the farm. Inderøy 64 grader nord is the farm's own brand. With an ever longer growing season, new opportunities have opened up, and Berg Gård is today the world's northernmost producer of both rapeseed and mustard. After threshing, the seeds are dried and cleaned before being processed further. The rapeseed is cold-pressed into a golden rapeseed oil. The oil is rich in healthy omega-3 fatty acids, has a lovely nutty flavour with a hint of citrus, and is ideal for salads, marinades, soups and light frying. Berg Gård are the only ones in Norway who grow mustard seed. The yellow and brown seeds are used in various types of mustard. In addition to their own seeds, the different mustards are flavoured with spices, honey and the farm's own aquavit. All products under 64 grader nord are made with natural ingredients- entirely without additives.
