About Sie gard
Sie gard lies in Årdal in Ryfylke. We process lamb, berries and fruit in the traditional way. Berries and fruit play the main role in our jam. That is why it is not spiced and we use little sugar. Our spekemat (cured meats) is properly smoked and dried. The lambs have been on rough outfield pasture in Ryfylke. They graze on grass, herbs, in the forest, on bogland and on heather moorland. We work to make sure our animals have a good life all year round.
