In 2022 Stolt Mat received HANEN's (Norwegian rural tourism association) diploma with an honourable mention in the competition "NORGES BESTE GÅRDSBUTIKK". Stolt Mat butikk is a cosy little local food shop where we sell locally sourced food from small-scale producers in Møre og Romsdal. Stolt Mat also has a café with three rooms, each in its own style. Here you can sit in a relaxed atmosphere, read a book or meet friends and enjoy homemade cake and food made with products from the shop. Just like the food, all the reused furniture is local too, from M&R. You will find Stolt Mat in the centre of Sjøholt, along the main road, midway between Ålesund and Molde. In the shop you will find juniper-smoked salmon/trout, klippfisk (salted, dried cod), kid (young goat) and venison, sausages, butter, cheeses, eggs, honey, chocolate, cordials, jam, salt, spices, lefse (soft Norwegian flatbread), biscuits, coffee, tea, flatbrød (crisp flatbread), flour products, and much more! In the café you will find plenty of good things on the menu: Norwegian tapas, various wraps, open sandwiches. Now and then a "Dish of the Day" is served as well. As far as possible, products from the shop are used! WELCOME TO STOLT MAT!​
