We opened our doors in the spring of 2004 and have since established ourselves in the market as a farm café / restaurant with our own production and farm food shop. We were among the first in Møre og Romsdal with this kind of business and buy most of the lamb from a local farmer. We have our own processing of lamb and salmon. We also produce a fair amount of venison and are an approved game handling establishment. Most of what we serve in the café is goods we have produced ourselves. Everything we sell in the farm food shop is of our own production. If you are going to arrange meetings or courses, a gathering with your work colleagues, celebrate an anniversary, a wedding or a christening, Nilsgardstunet is the place for you. We have two homely rooms at your disposal, in surroundings that give peace and quiet for both celebration and work. In Bestestova we can lay tables for 30 people and in the large hall we can lay tables for 100 people. In 2012 we became the regional winner of Ganefart for Møre og Romsdal and both of the Trøndelag counties. We also have a stabbur (traditional storehouse on stilts) which is furnished for overnight guests.
