About Nysæter Gård
Two people met each other far away from home, only to discover that they wanted to create a life together… Both fond of working with nature, and motivated to try things out – in 2019 they decided to take over the family farm in Norway to run it in a new way. Milk production was swapped for small-scale vegetable growing with a farm shop during the growing season. In the meantime, some hens and a flock of sheep have also moved in. In the summer, some "outdoor pigs" help prepare next year's growing area by turning over the soil where they live. The aim is to run a farm where nature, people and animals work together.
