About Storeggen gård

We are a small family-run local food producer keeping suckler cows of the Limousin breed. In the farm shop in the farmyard we sell handmade products and all kinds of beef cuts. The farm shop is open on Mondays 15-18, or at any time by appointment. If you are not able to drop by, we also sell meat with home delivery to large parts of Østlandet. At Storeggen you can take a seat at Bondens bord (the farmer's table) - a food experience out of the ordinary. We serve a five-course dinner in the large living room of the farmhouse. The food is based on the resources from the farm and other local ingredients. During the evening you will hear stories about the food from field to table, and learn about the farm's exciting history. Come and experience Storeggen together with us! In addition to those of us who live here, several members of the extended family are involved in the activities on the farm. Storeggen has existed for around 400 years and we are the eleventh, twelfth and now also thirteenth generation on the farm.
