About Skattebu Gård
Skattebu Gard is located in Rogne in Øystre Slidre and produces Fjellam frå Valdres with a focus on animal welfare, natural mountain pasture and locally sourced food. The sheep graze in the high mountains in Langsua national park and are not finished on concentrate feed. From the farm you can buy a wide selection of lamb and mutton directly from the producer, including pinnekjøtt (salted, dried lamb ribs), cured sausage, roast leg of lamb, chops, lamb shank and meat for fårikål (mutton and cabbage stew). Skattebu Gard also sells sheepskins and lambskins. Meat can be ordered directly from the farm, and visits and collection are arranged in advance.
