About Fåvang Skafferi
Fåvang Skafferi is a delicatessen at Kvitfjelltunet by the E6 in Fåvang, with a wide selection of local food and other selected quality products. In the fresh produce counter you will find, among other things, fresh meat and fish, Norwegian and international cheeses, sandwich toppings and various ready meals, as well as fresh baked goods and coffee. Much of the meat comes from the farm of general manager Laila Formo and her husband, where they keep, among others, sidet trønderfe (a Norwegian cattle breed), Angus, sheep and Boer goats. The shop also has dry-aged beef with cuts such as T-bone, côte de boeuf, entrecôte and fillets. The selection follows the seasons, and fresh fish and seafood such as skrei (migrating Arctic cod), halibut, trout, lobster, mussels and oysters can also be ordered for collection.
