About Sognasmak AS

Sognasmak is an information and experience centre for local food and drink, with its own farm shop at Håbakken in Lærdal. Our aim is to spread information and knowledge about regional food culture, ingredients and products. We are proud to be able, together with regional farmers, to help bring together and strengthen Sogn as a food region. In addition to selling local food, we focus on training, courses, events and other research and education projects linked to the production of fruit, vegetables and food and drink products. As a company we operate on non-profit principles, and without dividends to the owners. Any surplus is to be used to strengthen the company and the activities the company is to run. Try out Sognasmak, through the world's best flavours! Almost everything we make and serve here at Sognasmak is based on local, fresh products. We like to play around a little, experiment and challenge ourselves. We often take classic dishes from Sogn as our starting point, and make a new version of them.
