Fjellfellbutikken is open whenever someone is at home, and that is nearly always the case during the summer half of the year. The shop is self-service, with people nearby to help. Coffee, ice cream and drinks can always be bought, and food to go with the coffee can be ordered. If the weather is too raw to sit outside the shop, the coffee can be enjoyed in Stallen, with an entrance next to the shop premises. Feel free to ring to be sure that someone is at home. Routing your trip through Eksingedalen makes a fine detour from the E16 between Voss and Bergen, or from the E39 that runs from Bergen towards Sogn. You reach Eksingedalen by turning off at Evanger, Dalseid or Romarheim. It takes about an hour to drive to Bergo from Voss, Dale or Romarheim. Eksingedalen offers wild and beautiful scenery, fine working farms, waterfalls and mountains – and is a gateway to Stølsheimen. There are many fine mountain walks here and everything is in place for trying your luck at fishing in rivers or lakes. If you want to take a short walk, we can recommend Almarunden, our own cultural history trail. Almarunden takes about an hour to walk, with magnificent views from Kultatoppen and information boards about the history connected to the beautiful walking area in Almane. You can also hire a canoe, kayaks and SUP boards from us for use on Bergovatnet. It is wise to arrange hire of equipment in advance, with «Fjellflyt» via Anna on 48024522. Welcome to our farm!
