This is achieved through proven quality in our fruit production. Working with nature is best. Come and visit us at Sidergården. Apples and pears are the backbone of our production. We have 70 varieties of apples and pears in varying amounts. We blend different types of cider apples, eating apples, juice apples, bitter and sweet, until we get the perfect balance. As we farm organically, we use healthy apple varieties that are resistant to disease. That gives a good balance for the production and good products. So here you can experience pure production with plenty of flavours. We offer cider and fruit wine tasting together with our own small dishes made from 100 % local and locally sourced raw materials. Good flower honey is the result of this. In the autumn the bees are on the coast gathering heather honey. We won silver in the Norwegian Championship 2022 for heather honey. Our farm shop is connected to our antique and second-hand shop. Here we have a small cafe section where you can sit indoors. In the summer season we serve simple homemade baked goods, coffee and cordial. But if the weather is good, the surroundings here are lovely for sitting outside. Much of our energy needs through the year are covered by solar energy. We are also a member of Nortrip with 3 pitches and are a regular at Rekoringen Trondheim.
