Aker gård has been run by the same family for five generations. The farm shop is housed in the rustic old smithy, which gives a very special setting for your visit. Here we are passionate about conveying genuine farm experiences and offering quality products. In the shop you will find a good selection of local food such as fresh eggs, dairy products, ancient grains, honey and apple and rhubarb drinks. We have also picked out home décor items, gifts and toys for the children. It is a perfect place to find a unique gift or something nice for a cosy weekend. The children can say hello to our sweet rabbits or play in the areas set up for them. In season we serve freshly made waffles, coffee and ice cream that you can enjoy in quiet, rural surroundings. We want to make it easy to buy locally sourced food all year round. That is why we have a self-service 'vippsebu' (a hut where you pay with Vipps, a Norwegian mobile payment app) which is available every day from 07:00 to 22:00. The farm shop itself is open on Saturdays and Sundays 12-16 from spring until September, as well as during the cosy pre-Christmas season. Whether you live in Råde, are a cabin guest in the area or are out walking along the coastal path, you are most welcome to drop in. We are proud members of HANEN (Norwegian rural tourism association) and look forward to showing you what our farm has to offer.
