Farm shop and café: The cowshed has been converted – the woodshed has become a kitchen and the silo is used for a wood-fired baking oven. Where cows and sheep once stood in their stalls, you can now be served freshly baked cinnamon swirls and bread. We post on Facebook when the café is open and we have fresh baked goods. In the summer season we bake about 2-3 times a week. Accommodation in our Domes: The domes are set up just above the raspberry field with a view towards the fjord and Sjunkhatten national park. If you stay here during the berry season, you can stroll down to the field and pick berries straight from the bush into your mouth. Perhaps you can taste the difference between arctic berries and berries grown in the south? From the bed you can see the sky, and in winter you can see stars, the moon and lots of beautiful winter light and northern lights. The domes are furnished with two single beds and a king-size double bed. There is no electricity here - a wood stove creates a cosy atmosphere and good warmth. The cowshed is about 75 metres from the domes, and here there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, shower and toilet. A homemade breakfast is included and is served in the cowshed. We also have a lovely garden room that our guests can use. Here there is a wood-fired stove with water-based underfloor heating. It is furnished with a sofa corner and a dining table. It has become a cosy living room for days with bad weather outdoors and cold winter days. Pick your own strawberries and raspberries: We grow raspberries and strawberries under arctic conditions - with plenty of light and little heat. Picking your own berries is a pleasant and useful activity and experience for the whole family, young and old. Both the strawberry field and the raspberry field are accessible with a pram as well as a walking frame/wheelchair. Feel free to bring your own containers. The start of the season varies from year to year - and we post on our Facebook page when we start with pick your own. Group visits: We also welcome groups who would like a day trip to Bjørklund Gård. The maximum number in a group is 40 people. Here we can offer a good homemade lunch served in the cowshed, a guided tour and the story of the farm's history. In the berry season there is the possibility of picking your own or buying ready-picked berries. Get in touch for group visits
