At Kvikneskogen, on a bend south of the watershed, midway between Tynset and Kvikne, lies Tørresvangen. Up here in the mountains the summer is short and the soil is barren, which suits both us and the goats perfectly. That is how people and animals from here thrive! The landscape is free and open, rather as we ourselves want life to be. Our job is to facilitate good production with good welfare for our animals. Everything we do on the farm we do so that the goats will give us good milk to make cheese from, and kid (young goat) meat of fine quality. We firmly believe that good goat keeping is one of the most important ingredients in food from Tørresvangen. At the entrance to the farmyard we have a cabin for rent with up to 4 beds. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet with a view towards the mountains. Get in touch if you would like to stay. Visit the farm shop in the farmyard at Tørresvangen. In the stabbur (traditional storehouse on stilts) you will find a rich selection of products from the farm, local food from the surrounding area as well as several Norwegian cheese treasures.
