Nordås Gårdskjøtt is a family-run business based on our own farm, Nordås Gård at Skreia. The business is part of our operation with milk and meat production. We have 4 external game reception points, and here at Nordås we receive and process game meat from just over 500 elk, 1800 reindeer, 250 red deer, as well as veal and beef from our own livestock. Nordås Gårdskjøtt was established in 1998. Operations and production take place at Nordås Gård at Skreia, which is owned and run by Per Idar Vingebakken and his family. The business has grown steadily since it started, and consists of milk and meat production, as well as processing of meat from our own production and the game reception. Although the producer processes veal and beef from its own production, it is nevertheless game meat, and especially elk, that makes up the core production.
