About Kollerud gård

At Kollerud gård we grow raspberries without using pesticides or artificial fertiliser, and we pick to order. The season is in weeks 28-32. We process raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, rhubarb and wild berries into cordial and jam, and we have a small farm shop with these products in addition to handicrafts. We also receive farm visits by appointment all year round. Many families want close contact with animals, and that is what you get with us. We are a small-scale place, so everyone can come in to the animals and take part in the day's care and cuddling. We have sociable animals, which we can see enjoy visitors, and they can withdraw when they wish. We have a horse, goats, a pig, hens, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs. In Gjeterhytta up to 4 people can book accommodation and experience real farm life with grazing animals as their nearest neighbours. The cabin has facilities for simple self-catering, but we are happy to serve our guests dinner. A new bathroom from 2025 is available in the barn right next door. The farm lies 200 metres from Hemnessjøen, which has populations of noble crayfish, and during the crayfish season in August/September we offer crayfish safaris. Hemnessjøen also contains the Kollerudvika wetland reserve, which is home to a number of red-listed bird species. During the spring and autumn migration we have many bird enthusiasts dropping in to watch birds. Kollerud is an approved Inn-på-tunet farm (farm-based activity and care services) and has organised activities for children and young people, which are announced on our Facebook page.
