About Vintlands bringebær
The farm shop is open all year with sales of fresh berries in season. During the rest of the year we sell processed products made from all kinds of fruit and berries from the farm: raspberry cordial, raspberry jelly, raspberry gløgg (mulled drink), raspberry dream. We also have eggs and potatoes from local producers all year round Rom Østre is an old farm with settlement going back to the Viking Age. The farm has been in the Vintland family for 4 generations, since 1928. Today the farm in Lyngdal is run by Karl Petter and Anne. The farm has about 30 decares of cultivated land and about 150 decares of uncultivated land. Raspberries are the main crop and make up just under 4300 metres of rows in total, spread over 4 fields. In addition there are redcurrants, gooseberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, rhubarb, elderflower, aronia and a few apples and plums.
