About Heddan Gjestegard
Heddan Gard is a guest farm of cultural and historical interest in a beautiful natural landscape in the mountains of southern Norway, 40 km from the weather-beaten coastline of Sørlandet. Valleys and hillsides, mountains and crags, streams and tarns surround the guest farm. Heddan Gard, with its location, lays the foundation for an exciting stay, a place to retreat to, but is at the same time centrally located a short distance from towns and villages, and easy to reach by car, plane and train. Nature is open all year round at Heddan Gard, whether on foot, by bicycle or on skis. With an emphasis on culture, both in terms of landscape, buildings and meals, memorable experiences are easily accessible. 25 km of paths take you through the landscape, and lakes and waterways offer good trout fishing. A meal in the farm's restaurant based on local traditions and ingredients is an experience with flavour straight from nature. We have charming old buildings with modern comfort in a pleasant setting. We offer self-catering cabins and rooms with breakfast and half board.
