The heart of Bøtun is our organic market garden, where we grow over 80 different varieties of vegetables and flowers. Everything we do is connected to the garden and the soil, whether it is our menu in the café, our handmade chocolates or the homemade ice cream. The farm café is open Wednesday to Friday from 18 June to 22 August, 11.00-16.00. The food we serve is based on seasonal vegetables, meat from our own outdoor pigs and home-baked sourdough bread. In addition to our own produce, we use products from other local producers. The farm shop is self-service with Vipps (a Norwegian mobile payment app) and open all year round. Here you can buy fresh vegetables from the middle of June to October. You will also find a wide selection of processed products, which we make here on the farm using our own raw ingredients as a starting point. Marmalade, jam, herb oil, herb salt, pickled red onion, kimchi and fermented cabbage are among the products. In addition, you will find our organic handmade chocolate, where every piece has a connection to the garden. Try our dark chocolate with candied rosemary, white chocolate with rhubarb or milk chocolate with anise hyssop.
