Farm shop selling, among other things, our own sausages and other local foods. Farm café in the loft of the sausage workshop in the summer with fantastic food and a super cosy atmosphere! In our farm shop you will find a good selection of what we make ourselves. Here we have everything from cured sausages to many different barbecue sausages, as well as pork neck and liver pâté, and lots of other good things we think belong on a proper dinner table. When it is in season, we also make traditional food such as brawn, medisterkaker (spiced pork patties) and ribbe (pork belly ribs), something many of our customers especially appreciate. In addition we have products from other small and local producers, so that you can find a bit of everything when you drop by. Here you will find, among other things, coffee from Forvik Kaffe, which has produced coffee since 2009. We also have honey from Øyhagen, gathered from Vega's unique nature where the bees buzz busily in the midnight sun and collect nectar from the rich flora. In addition we have sheepskins made locally by a farmer here on Vega, spices from Hildurs and much more! Through the window in the shop you can look straight into our kitchen. There you get an insight into the production and how the raw ingredients become finished products. We want to bring you close to the food and the work behind it, while at the same time safeguarding food safety properly. In the kitchen it is Bente and sometimes her daughters Emilie and Kristin who are bustling about. Mother and daughters, and good colleagues in everyday life, who together put a lot of work into our products. We stand firmly in the same tradition as the women who cooked before us and make good and generous food with a good portion of love.
