About Sør Fløtten
Sør Fløtten lies in the mountain village of Tylldalen in Tynset municipality. Tynset is known for good kicksled conditions and cold winters. Farming stands strong here, and we are glad to be part of it. Here you can buy meat directly from the farm, something we are very proud of! Our products are prepared by hand in our farm kitchen. We have steaks and roasts of beef, as well as beef patties, kjøttkaker (Norwegian meat patties), burgers and mince for sale. Sausages and cured sausages will go on sale during 2025. The farm is in full operation, and we have cattle of the Aberdeen Angus and Limousine breeds. The animals graze outdoors throughout the summer half of the year, both at home in Tylldalen and at the seter (summer mountain farm) in Aumdalen. Both in the seter areas and at home we have fine walking areas with well-marked walking trails, cycle paths and cross-country ski trails. It is a good place to live for both people and livestock!
