About Alm Østre
Alm Østre is a biodynamic farm in Stange Vestbygd and has been run according to biodynamic principles since 1974. The farm has a varied production with dairy cows, cattle, sheep, pigs and hens, in addition to around 30 different vegetables and six types of grain. A lot is processed on the farm: the grain is milled into fresh stone-ground flour and used for sourdough baking, while milk becomes yoghurt and quark, among other things. In the Debio (Norwegian organic certification body) gold-certified farm shop you will find fresh vegetables, dairy products, sourdough baking, beef, pork and lamb, flour and eggs. The shop also has other organic and biodynamic goods such as honey, juice, stock and oil.
