Nature is our culture, and it also provides the ingredients for the meal that is prepared with you in the jordgamme (Sámi turf hut). Learn about the reindeer's migration, learn to prepare the meal over an open fire. An experience that offers something to all your senses. Making use of the whole reindeer is our tradition. Besides the meat, we also make use of the antlers and the hides. We tell you about Sámi handicraft, duodji. An important part of our everyday life, and we have our own shop for Sámi handicraft, duodji, Sámi design and Arctic products. Our cabins offer more than a bed – they offer an experience. An experience of nature, but also an insight into life in reindeer herding. There are traces of the reindeer and of our culture everywhere, even if not always equally visible. A natural and comfortable way to learn more about Sámi culture and food traditions, giving you a unique break from everyday life. Our place is not far from Kjøllefjord towards Mehamn on the Nordkyn peninsula in Finnmark.
