Skott Gård Nordre has a beautiful location near the Drammenselva river in Øvre Eiker. The farm is owned and run by Atle Sivert Tærum and Ragnhild Lie and consists of 475 decares of cultivated land and 150 decares of forest. The farm has been in the family's ownership since 1891 and the present owner is the 4th generation. We produce plums, black elderberries, cultivated blueberries, gooseberries, cherries and haskap (honeyberries). In addition we grow seed grain of wheat, meadow fescue, red clover and peas for canning. Several different plum varieties are grown, among them Opal, Mallard, Jubileum, Victoria, Avalon and Excalibur. All processing of fruit and berries is done on the farm in a sustainable way. Our vision is to make the best possible use of the raw materials without throwing anything away. The processing consists of various cordials with and without sugar, jam, pickled unripe plums and fruit wines. Our sales channels are Bondens Marked (farmers' market), Reko-ring and our own farm shop. Fruit wines are sold from the farm shop.
